The journey began with a trip to New Mexico, where I first tasted these iconic cookies. It was love at first bite. Biscochitos aren’t just cookies—they’re a piece of history (thus, their name "Spanish Cookies"), a celebration of tradition, and a reminder of the warmth and joy that good food can bring. I was captivated by their unique flavor and delicate crumb and knew I had to bring this tradition home to Georgia.
Since then, I’ve been on a mission to craft my own version of these treasured treats. Blending the heritage of New Mexico with the flavors of the South has been a labor of love, and the result is a cookie that feels both authentic and uniquely ours.
